Dr. Orlando works as a Consultant Intensivist at ICU 1st – Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo, Pavia (Italy). She completed her PhD in Experimental Medicine at the University of Pavia, collaborating on projects focused on patients under invasive- and noninvasive-mechanical ventilation.
Main research fields: Mechanical Ventilation, Lung and Diaphragm Ultrasound, patient-ventilator interaction, oesophageal pressure
