Dr Francesco Mojoli, GRIP founder

Dr. Francesco Mojoli is an internationally recognized intensive care medicine specialist and one of the leading experts in respiratory critical care. He conducts independent research and education from Italy, with teaching collaborations at Charles University (Prague) and Università dell’Insubria (Varese).

His research spans advanced respiratory mechanics, patient-ventilator interaction, esophageal pressure monitoring, lung and diaphragm ultrasound, and extracorporeal respiratory support. Over the course of his career, Dr. Mojoli has authored more than 230 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals including Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care, and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.

A dedicated educator, Dr. Mojoli has mentored generations of young intensivists and regularly teaches at international courses and conferences. He maintains active collaborations with healthcare industry partners in respiratory medicine, with the goal of translating research findings into practical bedside tools that improve outcomes for patients with acute respiratory failure.
